The 2026 Annual Meeting of Trinity Episcopal Church was well attended and featured thoughtful, open discussion from those present. Many participants noted that the gathering felt more like a true conversation and less like a formal presentation, which made it both engaging and productive.
Several positive themes emerged during the meeting. Members shared that we work well together, bring a wide range of talents, and are committed to supporting one another and our community. There was strong appreciation expressed for every contribution—large and small—made in support of the Church and the mission of the Gospel. We also learned that our website activity has increased significantly, showing growing interest and visibility within the community.
At the same time, the congregation identified important areas for growth. There is a desire to strengthen our public image, particularly by highlighting how our fundraising efforts support the wider community. We will continue working toward clearer and more consistent communication among ourselves and with the public. Members also recognized the need to focus on increasing participation and membership.
Financially, Trinity remains in a strong position. However, several upcoming projects will require significant investment. These include radon remediation at the Rectory and the remaining tree removal work, both of which are expected to be costly.
During the meeting, the following individuals were elected to leadership roles:
- Senior Warden: Tom Schmit
- Junior Warden: Penny Roberts
- Vestry Members: Kathy Madigan (filling a vacancy) and Mark Prouty
- Diocesan Convention Delegates: Matthew Payne and Tom Schmit
- Alternate Delegate: Mark Prouty
Overall, the meeting reflected a congregation that is grateful, collaborative, and committed to growing in faith and service.
